Step 1: Review our 新生核对表
请 download and print our complete 新生核对表 to ensure you are on track.
Step 2: 激活你的 Student Account and Email
激活你的 my.SMU account using the SMU ID that is emailed typically 2-3 days after receiving your decision. 然后设置你的 新大电子邮件帐户.
Step 3: Review your 转移 Evaluation Report
You will receive an email with instructions on how to access your report within my.SMU 3-4 days after your admission decision. Once you have downloaded your 转移 Evaluation Report, please review this 视频教程 to understand what is included in your report and how your credits are transferring.

Your SMU education is an investment that will pay dividends for a lifetime. Partner with us to make it possible. Three out of four undergraduates receive 金融援助 in the form of a merit-based award, grant, or need-based assistance.
请填写 Application for 金融援助 (FAFSA/CSS档案) to explore further merit-based opportunities for which you may be eligible. 一旦完成, check your SMU email address regularly for information about your 金融援助 package.

访问 campus in person and attend a 转让之旅. Additional information about admitted 学生 events will be emailed.
Step 6: Accept Your Offer and Reserve your Place
To reserve your place at SMU, pay your nonrefundable $700 Orientation and Matriculation deposit at akingdum.net/deposit. *请 note that incoming transfer 学生s are not required to live on-campus but may apply on a space-available basis with a priority application date of June 15 to be considered for assignment. If you would like to apply to live on campus, there will be an additional $100 housing deposit.
Step 7: 提交 Statement(s) of Good Standing and Final College Transcript(s)
转移 学生s need to submit a Statement of Good Standing Form for each college/university they have previously attended. This document needs to be completed by the Dean of Students or other college official who has access to disciplinary and academic records. 请 use a separate form for each institution.
Step 8: 提交 Health History
Before registering for classes, all SMU 学生s must complete and submit the Health History Form. 请 点击这里 for details and instructions on what is required. 请 note that Texas state law requires all 学生s under the age of 22 receive the meningitis vaccine or a booster shot within the preceding five years.
Step 9: Prepare for Orientation
新大迎新 是一个三步的过程吗. Mustang StartUp is our virtual orientation experience that includes our Campus Life Modules, Pre-Advising Canvas Course, and Academic Advising and Registration! Stampede is our extended orientation process that occurs the first few days before the start of the semester, and First Five is our first five weeks of programming to help ensure a smooth transition to SMU.
