Interested in SMU's overall and annual academic achievements? 的 Office of the Provost's 年度报告s is an annual print and digital publication that takes a holistic look at each calendar year since 2021.

Help us feature your research, department or school/college by submitting stories about the current semester, academic excellence, research excellence, inclusive excellence and other noteworthy happenings by submitting a story to the Provost Weekly.

Please read all instructions prior to submission:

  • Story suggestions received before noon on Tuesday will be reviewed and considered for publication in that week’s Friday newsletter. Others will be held until the following week.
  • For research publication stories specifically: Please note that starting September 16, 2024 the Provost Weekly will only be accepting research publication stories for studies published in a peer-reviewed scholarly journal with an impact factor of at least 10. For assistance identifying a specific journal's impact factor, check out this guide by the SMU Libraries or contact a SMU librarian.  
  • 的 Office of the Provost reserves the right to edit submissions for clarity and brevity, determine story submission acceptance and change publication date.

Weekly Updates (current semester)

的 Provost's Weekly Update is a newsletter that compiles important information from semester logistics to research/creative excellence all across campus to keep faculty and staff informed. 的 newsletter is sent on each Friday of the academic year and select Fridays during the summer months. 的 current semester's newsletters can be found below and archived newsletters can be found here.
